Fox N Feel interview + Grooveslanger Radio Ep. 010 guest mix

Grooveslanger shares some words with Juliette Felippelli of Fox N Feel to find out more about Los Angeles’ rising DJ/producer duo. Be sure to check out their new mix compilation “Just Play It Vol. 2″ on Grooveslanger Radio Episode 010.

You two may very well be the world’s first husband/wife DJ duo. Where did you guys meet?

We actually met in a club in Rio de Janeiro – Diogo was the DJ and I was the foreign exchange student sitting at the bar.  I requested a Felix da Housecat remix. The rest is history :)

What’s the best part of the club scene in Rio?

We would definitely say there is a lot of respect for the DJ from the club owners and promoters, which is appreciated.  The public in Rio, and all of Brazil for that matter, also really enjoy going to the club for the music and to just party all night.  It’s a very educated crowd when it comes to house music – people know what’s going on in the international music scene and get excited about all tracks, not just the mainstream ones.

Chicago producers Inphinity and Kalendr gain support from SHM

A YouTube video was recently uploaded showcasing some major love for two Chicago producers.

DJs Inphinity and Kalendr have long been household names in the Chicago club scene and have released a steady flow of music over the past few years. Their remix of “So High” by Steve Smooth featuring Luvli on Ultra Records in 2010 marked a new milestone in their production.

The duo picked up some big support from the Swedish House Mafia at Pacha Ibiza this summer on their bootleg of Justice’s “D.A.N.C.E.” and “Knas” of SHM’s own “Knas.” Check it out.
