Electric Daisy Carnival 2012 shuttle passes now available

Shuttle passes for Electric Daisy Carnival 2012 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway are now available. The shuttle will provide partygoers with convenient to-and-from transportation for all three days of the event.

The 3-day shuttle pass is currently priced at USD $70, with a USD $6.95 service fee. Shuttle pick-up points include MGM Grand, Circus Circus, Luxor, Excalibur and Mirage. More pick-up  locations are yet to be announced.

Three day general admission and three day VIP passes are still available for Electric Daisy Carnival 2012 for USD $250 and USD $500. Layaway tickets are available as well.

Electric Daisy Carnival tickets back on sale

Tickets for the 2012 Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas went back on sale this afternoon.

The first wave of tickets went on sale back in November, but sold out in just two days.

In the second wave of ticket sales, the festival’s organizer Insomniac Events is offering a layaway option which bills payment over smaller increments. The layaway option is available for both general admission in VIP packages.

Electric Daisy Carnival 2012 will take place at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Friday June 8, 2012 to Sunday June 10, 2012.

Three-day general admission tickets are priced at USD $229 with the VIP package going for USD $500. The VIP package is available for 21 and older and general admission permits 18 and up.

Las Vegas mayor proclaims Deadmau5 Day

Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman has officially declared Jan. 2, 2012 as “Deadmau5 Day” in the Sin City.

“I, Carolyn G. Goodman, Mayor of the city of Las Vegas, do hereby proclaim January 2, 2012 as Deadmau5 Day in the city of Las Vegas and ask all citizens to acknowledge that Deadmau5 has taken electronic music to the next level…” reads the official document.

The proclamation was made by Goodman in correspondence with the launch of Deadmau5′s residency at Wynn Las Vegas on the same date.

First round of EDC 2012 tickets sell out in two days

After just two days on sale, the first round of tickets for the 2012 Electric Daisy Carnival festival in Las Vegas have sold out.

The announcement was made Thursday evening by the Electric Daisy Carnival Facebook page around 6:30 p.m. CST. According to the post, the next round of tickets will be available on January 3, 2012.

The EDC crew says layaway payment will be available at this time, as well as hotel packages. The number of single day passes is expected to be low, leaving only three day passes for $215 USD. Three day VIP passes will be available for $500 USD.

Electric Daisy Carnival 2012 tickets now on sale

Tickets for the 2012 Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas went on sale this afternoon.

Three day general admission is available for the weekend of July 8-10 for $215 USD. Three day VIP admission is $500 USD. The VIP section is 21 and over to enter, general admission is 18 and over.

According to a statement from Insomniac Productions CEO Pasquale Rotella, the organizer of the event, Electric Daisy Carnival 2011 saw over 230,000 in attendance to Las Vegas’ Motor Speedway.

The Dutch DJ/producer known for his style of trancy-house raised the standard for Tao Beach parties and upcoming Beatport Sunday Artists. Spinning original tracks like his latest trance hit “Koko,” Van Doorn captured the attention of the crowd early in the afternoon keeping the party going before packing up to head to his next destination in Paris.

Van Doorn can be expected back in Las Vegas, for the long-awaited Electric Daisy Carnival Friday June 24, performing the closing set at the KineticField, 4:30-6:00 a.m.
