Pioneer to release limited edition CDJ-2000 and DJM-900

Pioneer has announced the upcoming release of white, limited edition versions of the CDJ-2000 digital media player and the DJM-900 Nexus high performance digital mixer.

Limited runs of 1,000 units of the CDJ-2000-W and 500 units of the DJM-900 Nexus-W will be produced and made available worldwide. Each special edition mixer and player will come with a distinctive plaque engraved with the serial number to indicate its authenticity and limited quantity.

The white CDJ-2000-W and DJM-900 Nexus-W will be available in February 2012.

FL Studio performance technology in development

Image-Line, the developer of FL Studio, has released a video showcasing its live performance technology that is currently in the works.

FL Studio Performance Mode will allow a MIDI controller to trigger audio, automation and pattern clips in real time, similar to Ableton Live.
