French DJ/producer DJ Mehdi has passed away at age 34.

DJ Mehdi aka Mehdi Faveris-Essadi was fatally injured on Tuesday after falling seven meters when a skylight shattered in his Paris home, according to MTV.com. Mehdi and friends were celebrating a friends birthday at the time.

Mehdi was best known as a member of the Ed Banger Records family. In 2006 he found success with his single “I am Somebody” featuring Chromeo.

Days before his death, DJ Mehdi posted his most recent mix compilation “Tunisian Summer Mix” on his blog. To download Mehdi’s last mix visit djmehdi.coolcasts.fr.

Search engine Bing has rolled out a new feature that influences search results via the Web history of your Facebook friends.

For the commercial, Bing chose none other than Chromeo and their track “Hot Mess” to promote its new technology.
