Matt Lange captures internal iPhone noises

Have you ever wondered what the inside of your iPhone sounds like?

Well DJ, producer and sound design extraordinaire Matt Lange has uploaded to SoundCloud possibly his most offbeat recording to date, the internal noises of an iPhone.

Using a pair of induction coil microphones, Lange captured noises transmitted by an iPhone while running apps, calling voicemail, and other various functions. Check it out.

KORG iKaossilator out now

KORG has released its new iKaossilator app for the iPhone and iPad.

The iKaossilator utilizes KORG’s familiar X-Y interface to enable the manipulation of melodies using the finger. It features 150 sounds and a key/scale setting to ensure the composition stays in key.

It is available now in the iPhone App Store for USD $9.99. According to KORG, this 50-percent-off introductory price is available until November 30, 2011.
