Organizers of Ultra Music Festival have officially announced the phase one lineup for UMF 2012.

The upcoming RE:GENERATION documentary, which examines the evolution of modern music, has uploaded featured tracks from the film to YouTube.
RE:GENERATION, expected for release in February 2012, pairs The Crystal Method with Martha Reeves and Funk Brothers; Skrillex with members of The Doors; Pretty Lights with LeAnne Rimes and Dr. Ralph Stanley; DJ Premier with Nas and the Berklee Symphony Orchestra; and Mark Ronson with Erykah Badu, Trombone Shorty, Mos Def, Zigaboo Modeliste and members of The Dap Kings.
According to Beatsmedia, all tracks featured in RE:GENERATION will be available for free download on November 7 via the RE:GENERATION DJ mixer app.

Metalheads Korn have announced the official release date and track listing of the upcoming Korn dubstep album, “The Path to Totality,” as well as an official accompanying tour.
Readers of Grooveslanger may remember hearing about the experimental album from Korn, which features collaborations with dubstep producers like Skrillex, 12th Planet, Excision and Kill The Noise. We reported at that time “The Path to Totality” would be coming on Nov. 16., 2012, but a recent announcement from Korn now puts the official release date on Dec. 6., 2012.
Korn will kick off an accompanying tour for the album on Nov. 3 at Boston’s House of Blues, according to PollStar.com. The tour will also feature stops in New York, Philadelphia, Miami and several other North American cities through Nov. 20.

Skrillex has recently recorded music with remaining members of rock and roll legend The Doors.
